How We Use AI
Some features draft text for you using AI. This page says which ones, what data is sent, what happens to it, and where a person still has to make the decision.
1. Which features use AI
A small number of features generate text or analysis using a third party AI model. Review reply drafting, review response generation, location page drafting, and the checks that look at how AI assistants describe your business.
Everything else in the platform, including rank tracking, profile management, reporting and listings, works without AI.
2. AI writes drafts, not published content
Anything an AI feature produces is a draft. It is shown to you and it is not published anywhere until a person reads it and decides to publish it.
This matters most for review replies. A reply to a customer is public and personal, and it should read as if a person wrote it, because a person should have.
3. What you are responsible for
You are responsible for what you publish. Read every draft before it goes out, check it against what actually happened, and remove anything you cannot stand behind.
AI models can produce text that is fluent and wrong. A draft that confidently names a fix that never happened is worse than no reply at all.
4. What data is sent
When you use an AI feature, the text you give it is sent to our AI provider so it can generate a draft. For a review reply that is the review text, the rating, the business name and the reviewer name if you enter one.
We do not send your billing details, your login details or your payment information to any AI provider.
5. Training
Your data is sent so a response can be generated and returned. It is not used to train the model.
6. Who processes it
Our AI features are provided by OpenAI. That means the text you enter is processed on their systems, which are located outside India. The list of every provider we use is on our sub processors page.
7. No automated decisions about people
We do not use AI to make decisions about individuals, to score people, or to decide anything that has a legal or similarly significant effect on anyone.
8. Accuracy and limits
AI output is a starting point. It can be wrong, it can miss context only you have, and it does not know anything about your business that you have not told it.
The AI visibility checks report what assistants said at the time they were asked. Those answers change, which is why the feature is designed to be run repeatedly rather than once.
9. Turning it off
You do not have to use any AI feature. If you would rather your account had them disabled entirely, email support@reviewresponsetool.co and we will do it.
10. Questions
Email support@reviewresponsetool.co if you want to know how a specific feature works or what it sends.
